After harvested, they were bagged for birdseed. 2016 marked the first annual sunflower festival which has become the first and largest sunflower festival and vendor show on the East coast! With two back to back weekends of over 600,000 sunflowers, handmade crafters, food vendors, live music and events throughout the week; the festival has seen up to 20,000 visitors per year.
