Beaver Dam Farm was a family owned and operated working dairy farm from 1927 until 2019. In the summer of 2015 the farm planted sunflowers to see how they would grow. With two back to back weekends of over 600,000 sunflowers, handmade crafters, food vendors, live music and events throughout the week; the festival has seen up to 20,000 visitors per year.
